I have worked in public, private, national, and international schools for over twenty years. The past decade, I have worked to build international schools serving primarily diplomatic and expatriate communities in Asia, Europe, and South America.
I have served as a principal and director for international schools abroad for fifteen years. Always keeping one foot, and a few hours, in the classroom with mentoring senior research projects, international politics, history AP courses, and as a guidance counselor, I believe the experiences gained as a Mississippi educator and with international schools prepares me well. Having served primarily diplomatic and expatriate communities these past fifteen years, I am familiar with the demands and expectations of a very unique community. Over the past five years, I have developed a reputation as a writer both of historical fiction and socio-political commentary. I am an avid researcher and have inspired young scholars to challenge status quo digging into the past to see history through new eyes. I believe in asking the hard questions, developing critical thinking skills, the art of the debate, and the need to raise up leaders.
