Jayne Friscia is a dance artist from San Diego, California. She earned her BA in Dance with a minor in Management from the University of California, Irvine, receiving the Dean’s Scholarship, the Cloud Hsueh Scholarship, and the Chancellor's Award of Distinction. During her undergraduate education she had the pleasure of training with respected faculty such as Molly Lynch, Vitor Luiz, Tong Wang, Charlotte Griffin, and Katarzyna Skarpetowska.
To supplement her training, Jayne attended intensives with Ballet Arizona, Backhausdance, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. She was chosen as a 2022 participant for SALT Contemporary Dance’s LINK Festival, where she performed in an original work by Omar Roman De Jesus. Jayne has danced professionally with City Ballet of San Diego’s studio company, City Ballet II and is currently a company artist with Ballet Quad Cities.
I am a professional dance artist and dance teacher, specializing in ballet. I have worked in non-profit administration, including marketing, box office operations, and philanthropy. Currently, I dance professionally with Ballet Quad Cities.
