Jeanette Draper

My dream is to work in basketball, it has always been a passion for me. I am an outstanding writer, communicator with all groups of people. I am also great with numbers.

Most of my experience is as an educator. However, while working on my bachelors in Marketing Communications with a focus on Public Relations, I had an internship with the Chicago Blaze women's basketball team in Chicago, writing press releases for the team. I also have a lot of experience communicating to serval different groups of people as an educator.

My undergraduate degree is in Marketing Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. While completing that degree, I had several internships, including working for the women's basketball team, the Chicago Blaze, writing and sending out press releases for events like camps and games they had coming up. I also had an internship with Girls on the Run in Chicago where I had to market and organize a celebrity golf tournament, where it was my job to reach out and get donations for auctions and prizes, as well as communicating to local celebrities to join our golf tournament.

We raised $25,000 for girls to go to camp. The year prior to me joining Girls on the Run, they only raised $5,000 from their golf tournament.
