I have over 3+ years in specialty and family medicine as a Medical Assistant. I have a B.S. in Kinesiology from William & Mary. I aspire to become a Physician Assistant.
I graduated from the College of William & Mary in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health Sciences, focusing on Pre-Med. I’m fluent in Spanish and proficient in French, which helps me connect with diverse patient populations. In my most recent role as a Lead Medical Assistant at the Gastroenterology Center of Northern Virginia, I developed training materials for staff on biologic medications and supported Dr.
Kuperschmit and Dr. Gupta by triaging patients and administering various injections. Before that, I worked at La Clinica del Pueblo in Washington, DC, where I managed the prenatal program and trained new medical assistants, while also performing essential laboratory services and patient procedures.
Earlier in my career, I was a Medical Assistant for Dr. Martin J. O’Hara, where I handled patient interviews, recorded vital signs, and assisted with immigration-related paperwork. Throughout my experiences, I’ve been dedicated to providing excellent patient care and fostering effective collaboration within my teams.
I have obtained my B.S in Kinesiology and Health sciences in May, 2021. I also am in the process of becoming a registered medical assistant through ARMA. I have a BLS certification and EMT-B certification.
