I made a career field change during 2020 and attained another degree in Process Technology. My previous experience in the military and I.T. compliments technical skills in this field. CORROSION LAB TECHNICIAN II

• Record and document test results in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) system.
• Upskilled myself to learn LabView data acquisition application.

  • Effective permeability test - Report production and pressure data vs time using different injection rates. Measure the effective permeability to water at residual oil saturation.

  • Learned core processing and depth marking measurements to improve the process to save 20% time.

• Core Flow lab - Solvent clean oil well core by flushing with toluene, azeotropic mixture, followed by methanol until no discoloration. Used a black light to ensure no carbons are present and silver nitrate to ensure no salts are present.
• Electrical properties - Conduct measurement of electrical properties during the porous plate capillary desaturation.
• Amott cell for spontaneous imbibition and drainage tests 
• Built and assembled core holder systems using aluminum lines, Autoclave, HIP, and Swagelock fittings
