I spent the last 12 years teaching art. Prior to that I used my studio experience working as an Art Director with the Boys & Girls Club and working as a photographer in portrait studios and doing weddings and special events. I have an outside the box mind, a creative spirit, and am adept at networking and relationship building.
I am proficient with Adobe, Office, Google, and other productivity and office applications. I am also strong in hand crafted design. I can multitask, shift on the fly/pivot quickly, and have strong people skills and a leadership (and growth) mindset.
Where I lack experience I learn quickly. And where I have experience I don't stop learning to get better and more efficient. I am for success in any role I tackle, and expect those around me to do the same.
My talents expand across fields and genres. Artistically my strengths are in photography, woodworking, and drawing, but as a studio art major I learned to work in all media to some degree of proficiency. In addition to my job skills I have spent time over the last few years working on my networking and relationship building skills across different communities and organizations.
I have art experience since age 3, photography since age 14, design experience since age 18, leadership experience since age 14, 12 years of teaching experience and nearly 20 years experience working with youth in a variety of communities. I can be a jack of all trades if just given a chance to step in and shine.
