I received my degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. I have over 20 years of fashion design experience from luxury brands, to technical outdoor, to Harley Davidson riding apparel and everything in between. I am skilled from concept, to design, to product creation, fit, manufacturing, merchandising, marketing and sales. I understand the history and codes of every major fashion house and I know the entire design process and manufacturing. I’m a true lover of fashion and would be a great asset to any brand in any capacity.
As mentioned earlier my experience in fashion is primarily as a designer. I’ve also developed skills as a fashion illustrator, stylist, creative director, and manager. I supported all sales initiatives which would frequently require me to travel to sales meetings where I would present to customers, buyers, and retailers both domestically and internationally.
My degree in Fashion design from FIT would be the most noteworthy relevant education. However I would also say working in the fashion industry for over 20 years is an education in itself. “On the job training” for over 20 years has given me valuable experience and built my strengths cross functionally. I am also a fashion connoisseur so I am always staying abreast Of what’s happening in fashion from runway to street style and future trends.
