Perform tasks to be of assistance to both kitchen and front of house staff. Take personal workflow to wherever assistance is required. Train staff when situation arises. Handle managerial duties for either opening or closing work depending upon schedule (ex. balancing cashier register when restaurant opens or closes).
Appoint kitchen assignments to staff. Input delivery invoices into accounting system. Maintain temperature logs for key items around restaurant. Conduct varying inventory counts nightly/weekly/monthly.
Submit orders for items needed for business. Care for customer complaints or inquires when applicable. Read and respond to company wide email. Update restaurant signage for promotions and specials. Transport large delivery orders or catering orders.
