My name is John Castellani, I am a Joint NC State – UNC Asheville Mechatronics Student (Third Year). I have a love for robotics and want to be part of a company that can challenge and give me practical experience in the field!
Experience
Embedded Systems
- Designed and coded an Embedded Wi-Fi vehicle.
- Programmed a MSP430 Embedded system in C.
- Soldered Components onto Printed Circuit Boards.
Student Research Intern
- Worked as a team to design and implement solar lithium-ion systems onto mobile microgrid vehicles.
- Operated machinery such as a waterjet to design components.
Student and Mentor First Robotics
- Led the mechanical team, competition team, and strategy team.
- Designed mechanisms using CAD and 3D Printing.
- Volunteered 300+ hours running youth robotics programs as a mentor and assistant coach.
