With a bachelor's degree in anthropology I taught high school social studies for at risk youth in Milwaukee. I wrote and implemented curriculum for civics, U.S. history, sociology, and anthropology classes. I was responsible for the daily running of a classroom, assement of student learning, meeting with parents and students to facilitate successful outcomes for students who have had challenges in more traditional learning environments. I left the classroom to homeschool my son and, as a recent empty nester, I am excited to explore a new opportunitys.
I've worked as an educator for the Council for the Spanish Speaking, security guard for the UWM student union, in retail sales for JCPenny and am currently an events coordinator in the facilities department at the Racine Zoo.
I have a bachelor's degree in anthropology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
