My name is John Evans and I am a Junior English major attending the University of Dayton. I have personal prospects and desires to increase my passion for writing, editing, producing, and monitoring the communications, public relations, and social media trends of a company. I have had the honor of working with a local Dayton theater company as well as having the opportunity to currently intern at Dayton Access Television. Being a production manager for a theater company, I have experience promoting performances, working as a public relations consultant for the company and the performance, as well as working with local organizations to plan philanthropy and promotional events for our cast. With Dayton Access television, I have experience writing scripts, producing shows, and editing content that has been presented in various media outlets to the Dayton community. Working as a communications and public relations intern gives me the opportunity to share my talents and allows me to build upon my networking, management, and writing skills.

Work with Operations and Executive Director to create programs aired on DATV’s channel. Acquired the skills necessary to manage film, audio, lighting, and digital equipment to produce shows on television and podcast mediums. Writing related to promotional scripts, creating original content and interview conversations. Hosts a interview-formated show related to local Daytonian news, Queeries.
Power Shack Gym and Fitness, Hilliard OH — April ‘22 - Aug. ‘22
Managed front desk operations to ensure a great experience for greeted members. Maintained quality of gym equipment, area, and locker rooms. Main responsibilities included selling and renewing memberships for gym members.
