Madison Smith

A recent graduate from Missouri State University with a degree in Public Relations along with two minors in Marketing and Mass Media. I'm passionate about public relations and communications, specifically PR writing and social media management. My experience as a PR intern has given me skills and experience in social media analytics and content creation.

I currently hold two part-time positions which has helped me build skills like time management and customer service. I'm looking forward to a professional career in public relations and marketing.

I'm currently working as a before and after school attendant with the City of Springfield, where I supervise kids ages 4-11 to ensure a safe and supportive environment. I also hold an additional position as a brand representative for Altar'd State in Springfield, Missouri. This position requires me to deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive lasting impression.

I also recently completed a public relations internship with Missouri State University where I organized and researched a master resource list for all faculty, created social media content, and interviewed campus leaders.

I graduated Missouri State in December of 2024 where I majored in Public Relations with two minors in Marketing and Mass Media. Throughout my time at Missouri State I upheld a GPA of 3.8 and was involved in a few campus organizations, most relevant is Alpha Omicron Pi where I held executive board positions including director of event planning and bid day coordinator.
