I verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits before treatment — confirming active coverage, plan effective vs. member effective dates, annual maximums, deductibles, waiting periods, frequency limits, and coverage percentages by procedure type, then documenting it clearly so front desk teams can set accurate patient expectations.
For payment posting, I post ERA/EFT and paper EOB payments accurately against the correct claims and procedures, reconcile deposits daily to catch discrepancies, apply adjustments per fee schedules, and flag underpayments or denials immediately for follow-up rather than letting them sit. I keep posting current daily so AR reports reflect real practice financials.
