I am a recent graduate from Miami University, and I am passionate about creating and developing solutions to real-world problems. I am experienced with CAD/FEA software, such as Autodesk Inventor, as well as CFD software, including Ansys. I would love to demonstrate my high ceiling for problem-solving, particularly in areas related to mechanical systems and fluid dynamics.
As a recent graduate, my professional experience is limited to a Project Management internship with Exelon & ComEd. While not specifically engineering, I found it beneficial to seek out a role that does not directly utilize my strengths, as I had previously found myself behind my peers in terms of time and workload management. This internship enabled me to enhance my weaker skills, becoming a more well-rounded and valuable engineering asset.
I have a BSME from Miami University, an ABET-accredited program. This degree reinforced my critical thinking skills as well as developed my leadership capacity throughout difficult projects. Specifically, my Mechanical Engineering curriculum was focused on Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Dynamics, with some experience in manufacturing parts and assemblies.
