Hello! My name is John, I’ve been involved in the tree care industry since 2008. I am a self employed small business owner seeking the stability of a larger organization. I come with my own equipment, driver’s license, drug and alcohol free. Highly motivated and experienced with sales, risk assessment / reduction, PHC, cabling / support system installation , etc. I am currently pursuing CDL’s, and my passions and interests outside of trees are my daughter, rock climbing, and data analytics / coding.
I began working as a groundsman for a small tree company as a senior in high-school (2008). I’ve continued to work for tree companies ever since. I obtained my ISA certification in 2020 and am currently pursuing CDL’s and additional arborist credentials. I can climb SRT, DRT, with/without spurs, rig safely and efficiently with a variety of technique (I have my own rigging equipment as well as personal climbing / access equipment) I have experience operating skidsteers and mini-skidsteers, climbing/cutting for traditional (stick boom) or articulating cranes (Palfinger‘s knuckle boom cranes). I have significant experience interacting with clients, writing invoices and work orders, accurately estimating job costs and logistics, installing support systems, interacting with production personnel and ground crew. I am interested in becoming a board certified master arborist and integrating modern data collection and analysis techniques to improve the health of communities green assets.
