As a current Entertainer in the theme park industry, I understand the needs and logistics of a variety of operations that fall within that scope. I have years of both performance and technical experience that have given me a well-rounded approach to the theatre arts. My journey started in a A.A.S. program, where I became a proficient stage manager, director and producer of various shows.
I joined the Schenectady Light Opera Company as a lighting designer and light board operator, and then later became a founding member of the Diversity and Inclusion board. I also developed the House of Pepper productions, a nightlife and drag performance production company where I created a monthly show at Cafe Euphoria. Since moving to Orlando, FL, I have worked at all the major theme parks, and have been involved with projects like the Universal Holiday Parade featuring Macy's, The Sesame Street Party Parade at SeaWorld Orlando, and Howl-O-Scream.
I am currently a performer and a character performer trainer at SeaWorld Orlando. I have been with the company for a year and have begun developing learning programs for Ambassadors to feel empowered with their work. Before that I worked at Walt Disney World in attractions operations and Universal Orlando Resort in Park Services and Event Operations.
My A.A.S. in Theatre Arts from Hudson Valley Community College provided me a well-rounded scope of the entertainment industry. I was taught multiple acting disciplines, including improv, stage combat and the Meisner technique. My technical training included show direction and stage management, lighting and sound design, and costume and prop manufacturing.
