I am a Lean Six Sigma graduate from Purdue University. I have a great deal of experience in aviation as well as the construction equipment industry (specifically Caterpillar). I am very passionate about Process Improvement because it gives me the opportunity to give customers their definition of value through quality, while assisting businesses reach their true earning potential.
I learned about and began applying Lean Six Sigma while I was active duty in the Air Force. As an airman, I applied lean and saved our country tremendous amounts of lost revenue by cutting wastes through various processes. After retiring from the Air Force, I changed my career path to the heavy construction equipment industry (Caterpillar). As a technician/welder, I began applying Lean and saved my company lost revenue by streamlining processes, utilizing talent, and tool accountability.
Caterpillar, I applied lean and safety protocol to various construction work environments with good success.
My most relevant education is Lean Principles, and Lean Six Sigma Green belt through Purdue University. I am constantly furthering my education and the next course I will be attending will be my Lean Black belt course through Purdue University.
