Joy Gold

I am a professional linguist currently contracted through various interpreter service providers that partner with private businesses and federal agencies. While continuing this work, I am pursuing an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing to complement my Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in healthcare management. This path builds on my previous studies in Law and leadership and is designed to enhance my leadership skills for success in healthcare administration or any dynamic administrative or leadership setting.

Since 1995, I’ve built a diverse and international career in and outside the U.S. I began as a linguist and administrative assistant, later managing a family textile business, where I led sales, marketing, client relations, and contract negotiations. I’ve held roles in legal human rights, Medicare customer service, and insurance coordination, became a certified financial advisor in 12 states, and now work as a freelance linguist with companies serving North America and English-speaking European countries, including budget negotiations with partners.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in law and completed vocational training in leadership outside the U.S. I hold a master’s in public administration with an emphasis in healthcare management from Grand Canyon University, where I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), alongside ongoing linguist training.
