Jude Darwish

I am a current student at Syracuse University, pursuing a degree in Information Management and Technology with a dual minor in Finance and Architecture. As an international student originally from Amman, Jordan, and having grown up in the United Arab Emirates, I have cultivated a global perspective that fuels my passion for technology consulting, leveraging innovation through technology, and embracing design thinking principles.

With a diverse and dynamic background spanning both finance and architecture, I bring a wealth of practical experience to the table. During my Corporate Banking Internship at Arab Bank in Dubai, I honed my financial acumen, conducting in-depth financial statement evaluations, assessing creditworthiness, and identifying market trends and risks in investment activities. This hands-on experience equipped me with valuable skills in financial analysis and relationship management while allowing me to collaborate across teams in structuring financing solutions for corporate clients.

Furthermore, my Architect Internship at Dewan Engineers & Architects provided me with a multidisciplinary perspective, enabling me to explore various facets of design, including digital, interior, concept, and sustainability. I not only transformed 2D floor plans into 3D designs but also developed expertise in web design using Adobe Dreamweaver and advanced my proficiency in Photoshop. In addition to my internships, my role as a Student Technology Support member at Syracuse University allowed me to provide technical support to students and faculty, resolving hardware and software issues.

I maintained and ensured the functionality of computer labs and audio-visual equipment for classes and presentations, trained students and staff on software applications and technology tools, and acted as a liaison between students and the IT department to prioritize and address technical needs efficiently. Drawing upon my solid academic foundation in information management and technology, I am enthusiastic about applying my diverse skills to technology consulting, innovation through technology, and design thinking.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management Technology from Syracuse University's School of Information Studies, with a dual minor in Finance and Architecture. Furthermore, I completed my International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at the Dubai American Academy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from September 2006 to May 2021. My dedication to academic excellence was recognized with Academic Honors Certificates in December 2021 and June 2021.
