Julie Shumaker

I am a certified Master Mental Health Coach, a certified Professional Life Coach, a Youth Mental Health Coach, and a certified Child Sex Abuse Educator. I also have a strong background in Customer Service as well as Education. I am the founder of multiple community outreaches and love serving in our church youth ministries. I also assist families of special needs children in finding community and mental health resources.

Throughout my years as a homeschooling mom and a therapeutic foster parent, I have volunteered as a Christian Counselor, special needs advocate for families, a child sex abuse educator, mentor to new homeschooling families, as well as many other community outreaches. After establishing The Potter's House Mental Health Outreach, a ministry to help connect families with mental health services and referrals, I returned to school to pursue certification to allow me to work full time in the mental health and life coaching fields. I am an experienced public speaker, author, and life coach.

Certified with the International Board of Christian Care as a Master Mental Health Coach, Youth Mental Health Coach, Professional Life Coach. Also a member of American Association of Christian Counselors. Continuing training and education via Light University Online.
