My name is Julissa Espinoza, and I am currently a rising third year student attending UCLA, where I am double majoring in art and communications. I have always been very creative, and through my art, I have been able to express myself and my identity. I enjoy the strategic aspect of communications and marketing, and both dynamics have made me passionate about what I am studying.
On the other hand, I have always been very passionate about fashion. I attended a fashion design course at SAIC in the summer of 2023, where I learned the more technical aspects of fashion. Before that,t I was simply self taught.
I would read and look at fashion magazines, watch runway shows, and teach myself how to sew.
