I’m a creative visual storyteller with more than a decade of experience capturing and shaping stories that matter. My career has taken me from producing large-scale campaigns at Cisco, to leading community-focused storytelling at Bedrock, and most recently serving as Video Director for the City of Detroit Mayor’s Office on a contract.
I’m at my best when I’m directing or capturing on set, editing compelling narratives, and bringing together all the moving parts of a project to deliver high-impact content. Whether it’s Fortune 100 campaigns or local grassroots stories, I thrive on blending technical skill with authentic storytelling to create work that resonates.
I am a seasoned Visual Storyteller and Senior Video Editor with over ten years of experience guiding projects from concept to final cut. At Cisco, I produced global customer case studies and branded campaigns, often traveling on-site globally to capture authentic stories that aligned with corporate messaging. My time at Bedrock Detroit allowed me to help build an in-house media department from the ground up, creating content for commercial real estate, community initiatives, and things that make people excited to visit the city.
Most recently, I served as Video Director and Senior Editor for the City of Detroit Mayor’s Office under a year and a half long contract, where I led video production on the “Playbook Detroit” initiative, highlighting housing, community wealth, clean energy, and neighborhood transformation. In that role, I oversaw every stage of production, from scripting and storyboarding to casting, directing, and editing. Currently, I am freelancing with Michigan State Senator Darrin Camilleri, producing a steady stream of social media videos each month while also taking on independent projects for businesses and organizations.
Throughout my career, I have specialized in directing, editing, producing, and storytelling, blending technical expertise with creative vision to deliver work that informs, inspires, and connects with audiences.
I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2014 with a degree in Film, Video, and Media Studies. While my time there gave me a strong academic foundation, I believe the most valuable education has come from working in the field. No classroom can fully prepare you for the pace, problem-solving, and adaptability required on set, and it’s through real-world experience that I’ve developed the skills that define my work today.
