I am a current speech-language pathologist seeking the opportunity to apply my extensive healthcare knowledge to another profession in the field.

I am currently a speech-language pathologist providing home care services. The independence of home-care requires me to be organized to create my own schedule that is flexible with my clientele. I work with families to develop and execute the most appropriate treatment plans for each patient. To support my practices, I use clinical-based practice and am frequently visiting research databases to understand what others have done and what services can be most appropriate to use. When evaluating my clients, I choose the best test for them based on their disabilities to determine a treatment, with comes with scoring using statistics to measure their baseline.

I am grateful for my time as a speech-language pathologist, but feel I am ready to transition into something new. I would like to explore and write for research outside of speech-language pathology and make my mark in the healthcare industry.
