Kaitlyn Bell

Dynamic and creative communications student with experience in storytelling, writing, and team leadership. Seeking an internship that will utilize these skills while also providing an opportunity to learn and grow in a professional environment.

I’ve worked in the service industry for ten years, having started at the Cheesecake Factory as a host. After becoming a leader in that work group, I was trained in every front-of-house position, eventually becoming Lead Bartender. My location is one of the highest-volume restaurants in the country, which has taught me how to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment.

Additionally, I took on a roll working as a long-term substitute for 8th grade ELA. In this position I worked closely with both my other team members and the Education Coach at the school to refine my knowledge of the subject. Through this collaborative environment, I learned how to make complex ideas about writing, storytelling, and research more accessible for struggling students.

Expected to finish a Bachelors of Science in Communications and Media in Summer 2026.
