I am a structural steel detailer with 15 years of experience. I have worked for major fabricators in USA using AISC and NISD standards. My skills include Tekla, Auto cad, Bluebeam and MS office.

• 15 years of experience in Structural Steel detailing with AISC, NISD standards using Tekla structures. 
• Worked for major fabricators like SC Steel, Alamo structural steel, Front Range Steel, Prospect steel, Universal steel, Division-5 etc.
• Proficient in reading Structural, Architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Detail multiple projects at a time, ranging from one thousand tons to quick turn projects with only a few items
• Participate in project kickoffs and checklists with other team members
• Prepare bill of materials, cut lists and other project documentation as required.
• Create RFI’s for any missing or conflicting information and submit to the customer.
•  Interact with connection designers as necessary to confirm connections.
• Resolves design problems and issues encountered in drafting process
• Create shop and erection drawings from 3D models using architectural and structural drawings supplied by the customer.
• To ensure erection plans, shop drawings and field work drawings are in compliance with structural, architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Submit drawings to the customer/contractor for approval.
• Coordinate with Joist, Deck, Stair, elevators and RTU drawings to ensure all steel is coordinated.
• Update drawings based on internal and customer/contractor drawing approvals.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with fabrication team to resolve any issues that may arise during fabrication or erection.
• Supporting clients with accurate cut lists and CNC data files for the fabrication process.
• Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents.
• Ability to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities with limited supervision.

Graduate in Mechanical engineering.
