Kassidy Manes

Hello, My name is Kassidy Manes, and I am 19 years old. I am currently an employee at Walgreens in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I have attended a 10-week dental assisting course, from which I will graduate on March 25, 2023.

I have been with Walgreens for a year and three months, and at my previous job, I worked at McDonald’s for a year and seven months. I have had many interactions with different customers and have had many different experiences. I myself had braces for two and a half years, and I am absolutely passionate about teeth and seeing people thrilled and happy about their new smile!

I am still currently employed with Walgreens, but I am seeking to branch out to start my career path.

In my recent education, I attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith for a whole year, but I knew I wanted to start my career more quickly, so I reached out and started attending the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy here in Fort Smith, Arkansas. It is only a 10-week course where it doesn't cover a lot about orthodontics, mainly general dentistry, but I am eager and willing to learn and I am wanting to learn about the orthodontic field. The course ends on March 25th, 2023, therefore I do not have my active license, but I will receive it after the process.
