With over a decade of experience in collaborative, fast-paced environments, I bring a versatile skill set across real estate, architecture, and hospitality. I thrive at the intersection of design and strategy—blending creativity with a deep understanding of systems, structure, and storytelling.
I hold a Bachelor's in Political Science, focused on American Government and Public Policy, with a Communications minor in Marketing and Advertising. I later earned a Master’s in Interior Design, where I specialized in architectural systems, construction documentation, and sustainable design practices.
My interdisciplinary background allows me to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and bring a fresh perspective to each project—whether it’s drafting detailed construction sets, managing client relationships, or exploring design through a policy-informed lens.
I’m a detail-driven interior designer and project coordinator with a background in federal, hospitality, and civic design. Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from MARSOC military facilities and BEQ barracks to courthouse renovations and Hilton hotels. I support projects from concept through construction, and I thrive in cross-disciplinary teams—whether that means collaborating with architects and engineers or coordinating with contractors on-site.
My strengths lie in space planning, Revit modeling, redline implementation, and producing thorough construction documentation. I also handle the behind-the-scenes work—meeting notes, FF&E coordination, punch walks, submittals—so projects stay organized and on track. As a military spouse, adaptability is second nature to me. I’ve taken on hybrid, remote, and on-site roles, always stepping in where I’m most needed.
Through my freelance business, Artesana Curated Design, I support other designers, architects, and builders with drafting support, design assistance, and construction admin. I love being part of a team that brings spaces to life—whether that’s a 3D model or a fully built-out interior.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and my Master’s in Interior Design from Florida State University. My academic path gave me a unique blend of analytical thinking and creative problem-solving—skills I bring into every design project. The transition from policy to interiors was intentional and rooted in a desire to create spaces that serve people in practical, beautiful, and thoughtful ways.
My graduate work focused on design theory, technical drafting, and user-centered environments, which continue to shape how I approach each project today.
