I am a seasoned Small Business Owner and Research Assistant with 10+ years of program leadership and entrepreneurial experience in the recreational sports sector. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for managing the launch of startups and streamlining processes, as well as for creating innovative approaches for mentoring by leveraging the newest software. As such, I have consistently exceeded budgetary and performance goals and I am adept at achieving maximum operational output with minimal resource expenditure.

Professional focal points include team development, social media marketing, business operations, physical education, event planning, public speaking, coaching, and business process optimization. Delivering superior administration on the latter areas of expertise requires utilization of effective communication skills, negotiation skills, as well as business acumen, data analysis, project management and resource management to support efficiency and maximum returns.

Currently, I am the Small Business Owner and Chief Instructor of Naginata at Ken-Zen Institute. Under my leadership, I became the first woman to launch a martial arts school specializing in children with disabilities, balancing the budget and boosting fundraising results. I also complete social media marketing, crafting engaging content across all platforms, alongside creating a new hybrid and remote educational method.

In addition, I liaise with senior leadership, stakeholders, and management teams to ensure the company’s operational support structure is driving the business forward with minimal expenditures. I am bilingual in English and Japanese, with some background in (Mandarin) Chinese.
