I have a unique perspective on environmental planning and risk assessment, combining my academic knowledge with my practical experience in data analysis and research.
Currently, I am a data analyst at PharmaACE, I use data to inform decision-making and drive positive environmental outcomes for clients in various sectors. I am proficient in SQL, R, and Microsoft tools, and have skills in statistical modeling, data visualization, and reporting. Previously, as a research specialist at San Diego State Research Foundation, I gained valuable experience in water sample collection and testing, as well as molecular analysis to detect trace chemical contaminants.
I also published research on environmental tobacco product exposure and waste management.
I am looking for new opportunities where I can leverage my data-driven, results-oriented, and collaborative approach to make meaningful contributions and drive positive change in environmental health and sustainability. If you are looking for a professional with a strong technical background and a passion for environmental health, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
I currently work as a data analyst at PharmaACE, a pharmaceutical and healthcare consulting firm. My role involves utilizing advanced statistical models (using excel, SQL, and Tableau) to inform clients and help dynamic business decisions. Also, I design analytical techniques, as per client requirement, and present results.
Here, I’ve gained a strong understanding of client relations, working under tight deadlines, and maintaining clear communication. While I enjoy working as a data analyst, I'd prefer to work in a role tackling environmental issues.
My environmental experience stems from I was a research specialist at SDSU Research Foundation. I collected sediment and groundwater samples, performed extractions, created, and enforced COVID-19 protocols, and trained/supervised a lab of over 20 researchers. During this time, I worked part time as a laboratory assistant at a toxicology consulting firm, Enthalpy Analytica, where we performed regulatory tests on client’s samples.
I conducted toxicology studies on sediment and relayed findings to clients and stakeholders. These experiences taught me how to be detail-oriented, organized, and precise in my work.
