In my graduate studies, I have worked as a research assistant for the IDC Research grant and have applied machine learning techniques to architecture via style transfers, and 3d model - building from a monocular image. The IRSC TLT Research Grant NYIT is expected to publish in 2023. I have mostly worked with python and grasshopper 3d.
Further, I also offer the following supplementary skill sets that may be of interest:
1.
Point cloud automation: segmenting the cloud points using cloud compare as well as classifying tags in py- thon. So, the segmentation becomes automated.
- 3d GAN: Creating various models from the few meshes. Which can be seen in the portfolio.
- From a single monocular image providing a 3d model. Sometimes when we need to create a 3d model, but we just have an image with us, this method can be used. Also, the style of the model can be ad- justed using the style transfers. Which is python based.
- Also, I have done a few structural simulations using kangaroo and karamba3d in grasshopper. Based on the results, the structural simulation can be automated to other similar structures using python code.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have interned with AECOM LTD and worked with APCO INFRATECH as a trainee architect. The following are the works I have done:
Pune metro line- 1
- Prepared design intent & schematic modeling during the pre-tendering stage.
- Designing and developing the package 02 stations i.e., from Shivaji Nagar to Swargate.
- All stations have different internodal connectivity at grade level, hence the complexity of design and develop- ment made it very tasking and crucial.
- Interdisciplinary coordination for the incorporation in design for preliminary design submission.
- Developing the design for producing construction reference drawings. Taj Vibhutikund
- Produced the plan layouts for the reception, lobby, bistro and the twin room. Along with the plans had drafted the sectional elevations and produced 3d renders.
- Supervised the site for the completetion of the interior works.
