Area of Focus: Addiction Recovery of C. elegans via Psychopharmaceuticals – GPA: 4.0
Project Summary: Conducted controlled C. elegans experiments modeling amphetamine addiction, using multi-stage exposure and withdrawal paradigms to quantify behavioral and physiological changes. Designed and executed intervention assays targeting various neurotransmitter pathways using serotonin, dopamine, and THC to assess their effectiveness in mitigating withdrawal. This work contributed to a broader understanding of neurochemical modulation within invertebrate addiction pathways.
