Motivated 4th year Sustainability in Science and Society undergraduate at Michigan Technological University with passion for strategic planning and sustainable practices. Interested in opportunities to build life experience and spread environmentally-conscious knowledge for the betterment of the greater good. Seeking a full-time position starting Summer 2025. 

Project Coordinator, Sustainability Demonstration House April 2023 – Present

• Plan and coordinate events and advertisements. 
• Communication (email, phone, in-person) with advisor, advisory board, tenants, MTU departments and staff, sustainability groups, the community, donors, and companies of interest. 
• Maintained sustainable systems, including beehive, aquaponics, hydroponics, vermicompost, and outdoor compost.
• Track house waste output via weight, as well as water and energy usage. 
• Analyze waste and solar data. 
• Suggest new projects/workshops, as well as ways to decrease waste. 
• Work with donors to allocate funds efficiently. 
• Host open house events and tours, community workshops, Earth Day Dinner, Adopt-a-Plant, and Waste Reduction Drive.

• Self-started a recycling program for the Grand Rapids and Detroit offices.
• Formal communication, through email, Microsoft Teams calls, and in-person interaction. 
• Created newsletters sent to all office staff.
• Coordinate events and communicate with vendors.
• Analyzed data and created metric reports.
• Handled E-Waste (inventory and organization). Coordinated to be recycled.
• Implementation and education of corporate level sustainability.
• Created presentations with interesting and digestible information. 
• Donated items to local art schools.
• Introduced to LEED and Environmental Social Governance.
