• As the sole genetic counselor at an adult genomics and therapeutics clinic, I collaborate closely with a physician to provide specialized care, focusing on preventative and elective genetic testing for patients.
• My role includes coordinating activities, offering expert analysis of genetic test results, and guiding clinical staff while maintaining collaborations with internal and external partners to enhance genetic testing services.
• I lead the development of educational resources for healthcare professionals, ensuring our clinic remains at the forefront of genetics and genomics.
• Additionally, I contribute to policy formulation, drive innovation in genetic testing, and educate medical students and professionals while actively participating in research and development efforts within our clinic.
