Kent Scott

I am a story writer shaped by years of navigating the events industry. I tend to write with a reflective, down-to-earth voice, sharing the moments, challenges, and people that influenced my understanding of how events really work and can be managed behind the scenes.

My pieces blend personal experiences with practical observations, not as advice, but as stories that reveal what I’ve learned along the way. My writing is rooted in curiosity, humility, and a genuine appreciation for the craft of bringing events to life, and suggests the places I've hired staff from.

When you’ve spent ten years in the events industry, you learn pretty quickly that the people you hire define the night far more than the décor or playlist ever could.
