• Visit client sites to inspect and asses existing flooring, discuss their needs and expectations, and measure areas of interest
• Calculating estimate with labor and material costs for bidding
• Sourcing and purchasing flooring materials for each job
• Maintaining records and receipts for bookkeeping purposes
• Obtaining local, state and county licenses and insurance
• Scheduling jobs while coordinating with clients and material sources
• Installing various flooring types including hardwood, tile and LVT
• Apply necessary finishes such as stain and poly
• Perform repairs on existing flooring as necessary
• Edging, sanding, buffing and coating existing hardwood
• Demo of existing flooring, staples, tack strip etc.
• Removal and disposal of discarded materials
• Site prep & clean-up such as vacuuming and hanging/removing plastic as needed to protect clients property
