PGY-5 Integrated Vascular Surgery resident at UC Health
As a chief resident, I manage the vascular surgery service at UC health. Training at an academic institution, I have the opportunity to mentor medical students and help with suturing, knot-tying and other basic surgical skills. As a senior resident, I frequently worked with rotating general surgery interns and taught management of vascular patients as well as technical skills in the operating room.
