I am currently a mental health counselor for child and adolescent patients. I have my bachelors degree in Psychology. I run a non-profit organization that provides resources to people with mental health issues who do not have access to therapeutic help. I am passionate about mental health. I love helping people overcome obstacles and tribulations.
Behavioral Health Counselor
Responsibilities: Perform front line functions of medical and behavioral health care; observing, reporting, and treating patients in a therapeutic setting, assist patients with emotional regulation and behavioral de-escalation, ensuring patient safety, maintain daily program structure, contribute clinical information and observations about patients as part of therapeutic interventions and document such in the electronic health record; use creative expertise to provide therapeutic intervention in order to maintain a safe, supportive, and clinically sound milieu.
Afterschool Program Director
Responsibilities: Supervising and mentoring middle school students, administrative tasks; keeping track of records, event planning and scheduling, teaching LifeSkills classes, training other employees, facilitating leadership among employees, driving community buses to take students on field trips.
KinderCare Educator
Responsibilities: Supervising and mentoring school-age students, helping students with daily online schooling, leading afterschool activities, cleaning, and closing the classroom at the end of the day.
Graduated in 2021 from Colorado Christian University with my bachelors in Psychology.
