I recently completed my Sterile Processing Technician certification in August. Through my training, I have gained experience in decontamination, sterilization, and disinfection procedures, while building a strong understanding of infection prevention and the important role sterile processing plays in patient care. My previous experience has helped me develop strong communication, teamwork, patience, and problem-solving skills.

These experiences have guided me toward a career in sterile processing and strengthened my commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Sterile Processing Technician Student at Evans Army Community Hospital (2026-05 – Present)

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments; inspect, assemble, and package trays according to IFUs and facility policies; operate V-PRO Max, steam sterilizers, washer-disinfectors, cart washers, and Medivators; document sterilization results in CensiTrac; and maintain sterile storage while following infection prevention practices to support safe patient care.

Online Grocery Pickup associate at Walmart (2024-02 – Present)

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment by accurately processing transactions, assisting with online grocery pickup and delivery orders, and working with team members to maintain efficient store operations.

Classroom Aide/ substitute aide at Panama Buena Vista Union School District (2018-12 – 2023-06)

• Supported students and teachers in various roles, including classroom aide, daycare aide, program leader, instructional aide, noon aide, and Paraeducator I.
• Assisted with daily activities, adapted to different classroom environments, and used strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills to meet student needs.
