I am a construction analyst with 20 years of experience in construction and project management. As a U.S. Army veteran, I bring a disciplined and detail-oriented approach to every project, along with strong leadership skills developed through my military service. With 20 years of experience in construction and project management, I have successfully overseen large-scale construction projects, including managing $7.7M in federal funding for over 60 active projects across the U.S. in my current role as a Review Appraiser/Construction Analyst for the Department of Veterans Affairs. I have extensive experience negotiating contracts, executing agreements, and ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations throughout project lifecycles. My expertise includes managing construction compliance reviews, performing cost analysis, processing invoices, and providing technical guidance. Additionally, I’ve led quality assurance inspections for medical facility construction and have a deep understanding of fire protection codes from my time as a Federal Fire Inspector, where I conducted inspections across a large installation footprint. My career is built on strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage complex projects efficiently.
I hold an Associate of Science in Applied Sciences from Central Texas College and have completed various certification courses at the DOD Fire Academy, including Fire Officer I, Inspector I & II, Public Information Officer, ICS, and Incident Safety Officer. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management through Western Governors University, further enhancing my leadership and management skills to support my career advancement in construction and project management.
