Whether I’m learning new skills or applying familiar techniques, I have always enjoyed the challenge of creating something new and exciting. I’m a recent graduate from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering. Don’t let the degree fool you, I’m savvy in many forms of art. I love trying new things and improving what I do.
I have had the opportunity to design and create very small and detailed truck and tractor models for Trainworx Inc. by using the programs Solidworks (3D modeling software) and Adobe Illustrator. Those products were designed to be injection molded, then mass produced and sold everywhere around the world. I was also a part of a group project for a senior design course.
Our team designed and built an adjustable enclosure that could house and collect emissions from desktop 3D printers. This project had many complicated elements designed and constructed for operation. During this project, I learned how to communicate and produce quality results while on a team.
I have also been hired to do various projects from painting murals, producing custom artwork, drawing family portraits, creating business logos, or even building a giant fiber optic fireworks display.
