I'm Larry Lee, an undergraduate student studying Mathematics-Computer Science with a Music minor at UC San Diego. Diving into the field as a first-generation college student, throughout my education and other projects relating to software development, I've cultivated an interest in back-end and full-stack software development, as well as interests in subfields such as algorithms, wherein I've explored various graduate courses on the subject and applied my skillset in tutoring experiences and in software projects. As a third-year with the ability to graduate early, I'm open to taking on both internships/co-ops and junior developer positions.
My most recent job is with UC San Diego's Department of Computer Science, wherein I had served as a Tutor for the undergraduate algorithms course on the design and analysis of algorithms, with topics including graph algorithms, Fast Fourier Transform, min-cut and max-flow algorithms, approximation algorithms, divide and conquer, dynamic programming, greedy algorithms, and complexity theory.
Another programming-based experience is in UC San Diego's EXPAND Mentorship Program, wherein I designed a trajectory analysis project on the MDM2-p53 inhibitor with different peptides for drug development insights, advised by a graduate mentor. This included writing shell scripts and coding in Python, and using various bioinformatical programs such as Amber20, APBS/ADB2PQR, and MDTraj.
Undergraduate student at UC San Diego with a 3.78 Computer Science GPA and 3.76 Cumulative GPA. Relevant Coursework may include Algorithms, Linear Optimization, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Systems Programming, Digital Hardware Design, Data Structures, and Abstract Algebra.
