Lauren Fanous

I’m a first-year PharmD student at USC with a Bachelor's in Biology from UC Riverside. Over the years, I’ve gained diverse healthcare experience in roles such as pharmacy technician, ophthalmic assistant, medical scribe, and optometry assistant. These experiences have shaped me into a compassionate, ethical healthcare professional committed to improving patient care.

Currently at USC Mann, I’m a first-year board member of the Student Industry Association and Industry Pharmacists Organization (SIA-IPhO), where I’m connecting with industry professionals and expanding my knowledge of the pharmaceutical field. My passion lies in drug development and the strategies that bring innovative treatments to the market. I’m particularly captivated by the process of translating clinical insights into accessible therapies and the strategy behind making those treatments available to the patients who need them most.

I am eager to contribute to a field that bridges scientific research with tangible solutions that improve lives.
