Leah Larsen

I am a dedicated student leader with a strong background in both student government and athletics. During my time at West Jordan High School, I served as an elected member of the student government, where I spearheaded initiatives that include planning community nights for charity as well as planning the special needs prom for our school. Concurrently, as varsity lacrosse captain during my senior year, I demonstrated exceptional leadership by organizing team practices, fostering team cohesion, and strategizing effectively, resulting in leading my team to be 11th in the state this year making it into quarterfinals during playoffs.

My experiences have honed my skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork, positioning me well to contribute effectively as well as being coachable through my want to learn.

During my time in High School, I spent my time bei3ng elected to roles such as SBO Historian, Junior Class Historian, as well as Varsity Lacrosse Captain. During those times in those roles, I was able to make impact not only others but on the school in general through effectively communicating with several groups and organizations.

I just recently completed high school in May 2024, at West Jordan High School. Through my time at West Jordan High School, I also took several college classes that prepared me for my upcoming time at Utah Tech University.
