I am an Emmy Award winning broadcast and digital journalist with over 25 years of experience producing all types of stories, events and projects. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and feel the best way to handle any situation is with solid planning and organization, combined with the ability to be flexible and creative when plans change. I have great people skills and I'm always up for a challenge!

I'm also at the point in my career where I no longer need to be in charge, but I do want to enjoy what I do.

The Weather Channel/Local Now: July 2016-April 2024

I started at The Weather Channel as a freelance producer for the Special Projects team, then transitioned to a Producer and Executive Producer of News for the streaming app, Local Now. I helped hire, train and supervise a team of 20+ writers and producers, eventually generating about 70 local, national, entertainment and tech stories daily.

WAGA-TV, Fox 5 Atlanta: August 2001-November 2013

I spent 12 years as Executive Producer for WAGA-TV Atlanta overseeing Special Projects, and a and then a live 5.5 hour morning news show. As EP of Special Projects, I had the best job in the newsroom! I planned and oversaw highly promoted special reports, live coverage of elections and major breaking news as well as other projects outside the scope of daily news. I was then tapped to revamp the Good Day Atlanta morning news show to better fit demographics.

WAGA-TV, Fox 5 Atlanta: August 1993-August 2001

Newscast producer for the premiere weekday 5pm and 6pm newscasts. I was responsible for generating stories, creating rundowns, supervising reporters, writing and copy editing for live broadcasts.

I have a BA degree in Journalism.
