Lilja Macki

I am passionate about using my skills in coordinating, marketing/design, customer service, sales, & communication in the mental health field. I have 6 years of experience in spa management, and 4 years in academic institutions as a writing tutor. I am seeking part-time employment while I pursue a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling .

Lilja Macki is a versatile professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, administration, and business operations. As the Sales & Marketing Manager at Betty Lash since 2018, she streamlined administrative processes by implementing electronic systems, enhancing efficiency, and increasing revenue by over $60,000 annually. She managed payroll, developed policies and procedures, and oversaw booking software implementation and staff training.

Known for her problem-solving skills, she has created in-house documents, standardized client intake processes, and implemented pricing structures that improved employee morale and career growth. In addition, Lilja is the founder of Lilja Designs LLC, where she manages all aspects of business operations, from customer relations to online sales and marketing. Her background includes writing consultation at the University of Texas Writing Center, where she worked with diverse students to improve writing skills.

She also has experience in retail, supplemental instruction, and coordinating client services, demonstrating her ability to optimize workflows and create seamless experiences for both employees and customers. With a strong foundation in administrative management, process improvement, and sales strategy, Lilja excels at developing efficient systems that enhance productivity and client experience.

I am pursuing an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas State University as a Graduate Merit Fellowship recipient.

I earned a B.A. in English with Liberal Arts Honors and a minor in History from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was part of the English Honors and Creative Writing programs.

I previously studied Drama at Austin Community College, graduating with a 3.95 GPA and Honors Program recognition.
