With 20+ years in education, I'm dedicated to inspire students and other teachers to thrive. My innovative ELA curriculum and differentiated instruction boasts 90% writing proficiency and 70% reading proficiency, well above national averages.
I’m an educator, nonprofit leader, and project manager with over a decade of experience empowering students, supporting teachers, and building strong community connections.
Currently, I serve as the Founder and Executive Director of Allied Angels, a nonprofit focused on advocacy, outreach, and creating meaningful change through education and engagement. I lead initiatives in business development, fundraising, event planning, and community partnerships—all grounded in purpose-driven leadership and clear communication.
In the classroom, I’ve worked with Natrona County School District since 2020, where I’ve led literacy-focused curriculum development, facilitated data-driven instruction, and supported professional learning communities. My efforts have helped students reach 90% proficiency in writing and mentored teachers grow by 20%—results I’m incredibly proud of.
My background also includes work in education consulting, strategic planning on a local government board, and small business ownership in the performing arts. Whether I’m designing curriculum, leading teams, or advocating for change, I bring passion, creativity, and a solutions-focused mindset to everything I do.
I hold a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University (Aug 2022 – Aug 2023), where I developed expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, educational research, and adult learning theory. My skills include project management, data analytics, proposal writing, and effective communication, with a strong emphasis on analytical and critical thinking, organizational development, and multicultural education. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English from Grand Canyon University (2014 – 2017), gaining experience in classroom management, literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), and academic writing.
Additionally, I have an Associate of Arts in Dance Performance, Elementary Education, and Human Communication from Casper College (Aug 2001 – May 2004), where I was actively involved as a resident assistant and a member of various dance and choir teams. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently demonstrated refined written and verbal communication, research skills, and a passion for teaching and collaboration.
