I have many years’ experience as a bookkeeper and a teacher of software, accounting and other business related classes. I have recently been laid off from the Simi Institute, where I was teaching accounting, QuickBooks and Excel.
Department lead. Aid students to encourage success. Collaborate with fellow teachers to determine the best practices for the department. Develop and implement courses for six-week lecture and semester long independent (hybrid online) study classes.
Curriculum Development: Accounting, Business English, Computer Basics, Computer Keyboarding, Microsoft Office, Proofreading, QuickBooks Pro & Online, 10-Key Calculator, & others. Create and submit all required documentation for course enactment to the school district.
Classrooms & Labyrinth eLab tools in class design and implementation. Monitor student progress and analyze program effectiveness. Review and overhaul assessments as needed. Review course books and replace or update accordingly. Support coworkers and administration to effectively maintain the program.
