I am a Registered Nurse in Texas with many years of experience, primarily in Women's Services, which I love. For several years now, I have been trying to "step away from the bedside some" as well as try something different. As you will see by my resume, I have also obtained experience as a Bariatric Coordinator, which I also loved. In addition, due to my most recent experience as Clinical Instructor (which I also loved).
I appreciate your time to allow me to introduce myself and give you a little bit of my background. Throughout my years of various experiences I have attained many various skills, listed below.
Labor & Delivery
Triage in L&D
Relief Charge in Family Birth Center
Preceptor in L&D/Triage/Antepartum
Circulator in L&D and main OR
Coordinator for Bariatric Center of Excellence
Mom-Baby Care
I obtained my RN-BSN as well as my RNC Inpatient Obstetrics. More recently I gained certification as an NRP Instructor for AAP which was a requirement as a Clinical Instructor.
I began my journey into nursing in 1995, with obtaining my ADN in August 1997, then earning my license as a Registered Nurse later in October 1997, remaining current. In 2011, I began my next journey of obtaining my BSN through an online RN-BSN program, graduating in 2013; I also during this time, made the decision to strengthen my experience thus-far in Women's Services, with obtaining my RNC-Inpatient Obstetrics in 2012, in which I remain current.
