Hello everyone, my name is Maddison Parker. I recently graduated from Prairie View A&M, where I played Division I softball all four years and earned two SWAC championships during that time. I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.
Currently, I’m teaching and coaching, but I know my true passion lies in working within the sports industry, and I’m eager to get my foot in the door. My goal is to pursue a career in marketing, operations, or media in the sports field. I’m also working towards my master’s degree in Sports Management at the University of Texas.
In my professional experience as a teacher and coach, I have developed a strong foundation in setting high standards and expectations for both myself and my students/athletes. I am committed to creating an environment that fosters growth, discipline, and teamwork. As a teacher, I focus on delivering well-structured lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they are challenged and supported in their learning journey.
In coaching, I emphasize accountability, responsibility, and continuous improvement, pushing my athletes to excel both on and off the field. I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and adaptability to meet the unique challenges of each day. My approach to teaching and coaching is rooted in fostering a positive, results-driven environment where individuals are empowered to achieve their personal and collective goals.
During my time at Prairie View A&M as a student-athlete, I successfully balanced the demands of Division I softball with my academic responsibilities. Throughout all four years, I remained dedicated to my studies, earning a place on the Dean's List for my strong academic performance. This achievement reflects my commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom, demonstrating my ability to manage time effectively and maintain a high level of discipline and focus.
