Social Media Director specializing in community engagement. Prospective law student.
My passion for educational reform and communication guided my time at the University of Texas at Austin. While working towards my Bachelor of Science in Political Communication, I worked on a research project that is pending publication, volunteered with organizations that serve disabled and at-risk populations, and worked with political organizations helping to inform students on the issues that concern them. It is at the University of Texas that I realized my future lies in law, specifically public policy. During my final semester, I earned my Paralegal Certification while working on law school applications, finals, and LSAT studies. Everything I have experienced has led me to where I am today, working as a Media Director for a nonprofit and pursuing a career that would help ensure all students have equal opportunities for success. Every experience has been a gift and saying "yes" to everything I can is a philosophy I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication and a minor in Government. While at UT, I participated in campus political organizations, working to engage students in politics. I also had the opportunity to participate in a research project on gender salience where I worked as a contributor to a paper that is pending publication.
